My wife and I plan to visit Vietnam for two weeks this March. We are currently living in Korea, and we are both US citizens. We were hoping to get visas at the Vietnam Embassy in Seoul, possibly as soon as this Friday. Is this a possibility? If so, what will we need to bring?
Thank you, Joseph Lowe
Dear Josheph Lowe,
Please be informed that you can apply for Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy in Seoul, but you are highly recommended to contact the embassy for more information since the procedure as well as processing time vary from embassy to embassy.
If you travel to Vietnam by air, you may have another option to get Vietnam Visa for US citizens in Korea: apply for Vietnam visa on arrival.
To get it, you only need to:
- complete the online form and pay for service fee;
- get visa approval letter via email within 02 working days or faster at your request;
- get visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport by showing your original passport, approval letter, entry and exit form, photos and paying for stamping fee in cash at the VOA counter.
You can see full guide on how to get Vietnam visa for US citizens here.
If you already clearly understand the process, you can click this Vietnam visa application form to apply for the visa.
Wish you have your visas well prepared before your trip to Vietnam.
Have a nice day,
