Please be informed that foreigners who enter, exit from, and reside in Phu Quoc island, for a stay period not exceeding 30 days shall be exempted from Vietnam visas. Since you just travel to Phu Quoc Island and stay there for about one week, you also do not need a visa for Vietnam. But in case after coming to Phu Quoc island, you wish to travel to other localities, the entry and exit management body shall consider and grant visa to you right in Phu Quoc island.
