I had to apply for a new passport, which I now have. However I have a valid multiple entry visa in my old passport so can I enter Vietnam with a valid passport but my visa in my old passport? Pierre.

Yes, you can, Pierre.

You can have your current visa transferred to your new passport.

When you arrive at Vietnam airport, reach the VOA counter, and give the immigration officer there both passports, the new and the old one. The officer will move your valid visa from your expired passport to your new passport. And then the expired visa is cancelled and a new visa (identical as the original) is issued in you new passport. Both passport are then returned to you.

However, the visa transfer may vary case by case.

In case you want to make sure that your visa is moved to new passport before departure for Vietnam, we can assist you to do so. Just call us at +84.946.583.583 to check your case and get assisted.

Should you need any further information, feel free to let us know.
